The 28th day of TRUE LITTLE MONK, A Wisdom Training Programme for Novices.  

In the week of "LET GO" weekly concept.
 

This morning, all novices did morning chanting and sitting meditation. The novices cleaned the hall before leaving for alms. After the alms round, the novices assisted the monastic mentor to clean their feet.

Before the meal, the novices read books while others practiced reciting chants with the monastic mentors or prepared for the Dhamma talk which will occur in a few days.   This morning, Luang Ta Anek, the abbot of Wat Pah Sai Ngam, came to meet the novices and Buddhists at the main food hall and gave Dhamma lessons to all novices. Today’s meal was the first time that the novices ate with Luang Ta Anek, along with other monks at Wat Pah Sai Ngam.


Luang Ta Anek and the monastic mentor encouraged some novices who were worried about memorizing the chant and Dhamma Talks. 

In this afternoon’s Learning Process, the novices learned about global climate change which is the crisis that every country. The instructors were representatives of EEC or Environmental Education Center, Jaturong Padungsapya who is a global environmentalist, and the young Environmentalists: Phut Pantrat, and Panlerd Bandidwong. Novices learned about climate change and the affects.

After the class, they had refreshments and swept off the leaves in the temple.
In the Dhamma Story session, the monastic mentor learned about the story of  4 Iddhipada.
